Durel has played an active role in many professional and community organizations. Other service included: gallery exhibition work, scouts and youth organizations.
Publications
In addition to her writings on fundraising and management that are published on this site, Durel was a regular columnist on educational issues for Baltimore’s Child from 1991 to 1999, and also published articles in the Baltimore Sun and the Baltimore Messenger.
