Qm² is a community of consultants helping nonprofit organizations build successful futures by implementing powerful concepts of learning, leadership, management, and organizational design.
Qm² helps nonprofits achieve their missions by marshaling creative forces to improve efficiencies, to connect with new audiences, to better use the talents and energy of staff and board, to discover new ways of generating income
History
First called "Quality Management for Quality Museums," Will Phillips and Mary Case formed Qm² in 1993 to serve cultural organizations and the boards, business, and foundations which support them. As we worked, our client base expanded, as did the meaning of Qm², now standing for "Quality Management to a Higher Power." We believe that made with the right leverage, a small change in the system can lead to a large improvement in results.
John Durel, a former museum director, joined Qm² in 1996.
Betsy Bowers joined Qm² in 2004.
Qm² is committed to serving the nonprofit community with a new breed of management consulting. We are dedicated to bringing the very best from the corporate world, eliminating passing fads and poor, but accepted, business practices. One of our goals is the creation of a network of selected professional associates using the Qm² name, concepts, and tools to serve nonprofit institutions across North America.
