Regular communication with other deputies helps to clarify issues and convert concern into practical action. Communication takes place via email and telephone conferences; at an annual overnight retreat, and at other occasional meetings
John Durel, an experienced facilitator, chairs the round table, focusing the discussions to produce the maximum benefit for each participant. In his career Durel served for many years as a deputy director. Since 1997 he has worked as a management consultant with non-profit organizations.
